I've been part of the Tumi Hair community for over 20 years, which says everything about the kind of place this salon is. Renato and Louisa have created more than just a salon — they’ve built a welcoming space where everyone feels comfortable, valued, and genuinely cared for.

Their passion for styling shines through in everything they do, and they always take the time to really listen to their clients. There’s a real sense of connection and community every time you walk through the door.
And I have to say, the icy cold beer that comes with the service is always a great touch and part of what makes the experience so enjoyable.

I've been going to Tumi for several years and have always had a great experience. Renato, Gracie and the team are all lovely, and the salon is very comfortable and calm. The massage chair while you get your hair washed is a nice bonus! I'm so glad to have this local business in my neighbourhood - it feels like part of the community.

I have been a Tumi client for many years when we lived in Richmond ! At that time the salon was in a different location but still in Richmond ! The best salon ever and the team is exceptional ! Ranato and Louisa you run the best salon I can think of in Melbourne ! Just to let you know I am coming back to you and can’t wait to see your new salon and have a hair cut ! For the past couple of months I’ve been visiting Tumi Hair, and I’ve consistently had a great experience. The team is professional, knowledgeable and always welcoming.

Today I was looked after by Lil, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. She was kind, patient and took the time to show me how to diffuse my curls properly. I’ve always struggled with diffusing, but her guidance was clear and easy to follow. I left feeling much more confident.

Always walk out super happy with the cut and colour at Tumi Hair!! Nicky transformed my hair from brown to balayage and I have come back three times times now to have it maintained doing an amazing job every time. I have dark hair so usually a challenge to get a result I am looking for. Alexandra made what most of the time feels impossible - possible, taking the time and effort to do an exceptional job. have you ever gone to a hair salon with a hat in your bag out of fear of the result? or walked straight out of a salon and fixed/ tied your hair up in the reflection of a nearby shop or window? or gone home and spent hours in the bathroom trying to fix your dye job? fear and fix no more, you'll be in great hands at Tumi Hair Salon.

My Mum and I have been loyal customers for over 10 years because after one booking you will not need to look any further for exquisite creativity and perfection and beautiful execution. I have had short short hair for 3 years and take it very seriously, I trust Renato (or anyone at Tumi) with my cut, colour and styling. I believe I could sit in the chair without a word of instruction or mention of desired my outcome and walk out of the salon with a fantastic look you could find on the head of a model or a movie star (and a whole new outlook on life to go with it). Walk out of the salon with pride, money well spent and a bag of goodies BECAUSE THEY JUST GET IT!

For me, a haircut does have to be just a menial task that has to be done like brushing your teeth. It can be self care, it can be self expression, it can be a holiday, it can be as important as attending regular therapy (for me it is a substitute for these things) - at Tumi Hair Richmond you'll experience this + bliss. They are artists and the Salon is beautiful.
