Cancellation policy
Tumi’s time is reserved personally for each client, with a senior stylist and the right amount of chair time set aside. Forty-eight hours’ notice is requested for any change so the appointment can be offered to someone else.

The Policy
Forty-eight hours’ notice
To cancel or reschedule an appointment, Tumi asks for at least 48 hours’ notice. This allows the salon to offer the time to another client, and to plan the day’s bookings around senior stylists who are reserved per appointment.
Notice can be given by calling the salon on 03 9428 8608, or by replying to the booking confirmation from the online booking system.
Deposits
Some appointments, particularly longer colour, keratin and occasion services, may require a deposit to secure the booking. Where a deposit is taken, it is applied to the final cost of the service on the day.
Late cancellations and no-shows
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice, and appointments missed without notice, may incur a fee, and any deposit held may be forfeited.
Running late
If running late on the day, a quick call to the salon helps. Where possible the appointment will be honoured, though significant lateness may mean the service has to be shortened or rescheduled so the stylist’s following clients are not affected.
Why the Policy Exists
Reserved time, senior hands
Tumi does not overbook or rush clients in. Each booking reserves a senior stylist and a set amount of time specifically for that client. The 48-hour policy is what makes that possible: it keeps the day workable for the team and fair to every client waiting for a place in the chair.
